Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan also held the positions of costume/set designer, producer, composer/music directors as well as text coaches. Although she was usually the leader of her ensembles, her first directing role was in SSC King Lear.
